Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Math Tutor to provide personalized academic support to students across various age groups. The successful candidate will assist learners in improving their understanding of subject matter, developing effective study skills, and building confidence in their abilities. Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in Math, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Assess students' current knowledge levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop customised lesson plans and learning materials to support curriculum goals.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, motivation, and confidence.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English (native or near-native fluency).
  • Education background in teaching preferred.
  • 5+ years prior experience teaching high school Math.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
  • Organized, patient, and adaptable approach to individual learning styles.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
