About The Job You're Considering

• 7-10 years experience as a technical writer with software documentation experience emphasized
• Significant experience working with DITA-based content management systems (Tridion preferred) and XML editors (Oxygen preferred)
• Experience working directly with Engineering to understand concepts and refine content to be appropriate for customer-facing documentation.
• Telecommunications/5G network experience. This product is intricate and an understanding of some fundamental telecom concepts would be extremely helpful, if not essential, to this person's success.
• Ability to interface with Canada-based team lead on processes, best practices, and content reuse rules
• Writing samples required to illustrate the candidate's expertise in developing customer-facing software documentation.

• Patience with working with people who don't write things down
