Our Company

We are distributors for retail and professional medical products licenced by Health Canada and an ISO registered company. We have a warehouse in midtown Toronto at Dufferin and St Clair Ave. West. We are seeking a person to add to our warehouse team.

Job Overview

We currently have an opening for a motivated individual as a full time Shipper/Receiver/Warehouse Associate in our warehouse. Hours of work are 9 to 5:00 with 30 minutes off for lunch and two fifteen minute breaks. The pay range is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To manage the picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of all products.

  • Coordinate shipping of goods.

  • Give back-up support for others on your team.

  • Off loaded goods must be inspected, counted, and signed for, then entered in computer with correct warehouse location. Shipped goods must be properly picked, counted and prepared in accordance with shipping documentation.

  • Log and maintain documents for quality system.

  • Loss and damage prevention is part of the job.

  • There is physical material handling involved that will require lifting and handling of individual cartons and bags.

  • Maintaining the general cleanliness of the warehouse and receiving areas as required.

  • Must be bondable.

  • Perform other duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required ( 3 + years preferable)

  • Experience with shipping systems used by Purolator and other couriers

  • High School diploma a necessity

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

  • Must have driver's license

  • Must have good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Good communication skills a requirement. Must be able to speak, read and write English and respond to customer inquiries and take orders.

  • Knowledge of computer systems is an asset.

  • The successful applicant should be a team player and able to work well with others.
