We are looking for an energetic Driver and warehouse associate.

About the Job :

The Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate will be responsible for delivering customer purchases daily while ensuring prompt and high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have previous home delivery experience, be able to handle heavy merchandise with care and have a valid driver's license. The company offers a competitive income and steady hours.

We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, that can provide a safe, comfortable and efficient delivery experience for our customers. You can handle heavy merchandise with care either on your own with a dolly or with a partner. You understand that you are part of the team at Surplus and will serve as an ambassador to our customers and can provide insight into further Surplus products.

  • Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle and safely transport merchandise
  • Organize daily work/delivery schedule/route
  • Maintain accurate paperwork
  • Maintain equipment and report any damages, necessary repairs or malfunctions
  • Must be bondable and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
  • Must have at minimum 1 years driving experience
  • Work in warehouse when needed/deliveries slow
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • You must be able to lift 50lbs safely on a regular basis
  • Customer Service experience as this is a customer facing role
  • The ability to respond to on-call shifts
