This role is part of a global Supply Chain and Finance process and technology transformation that includes migration of operations to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). The Purchasing & Supply Chain Coach will be responsible for driving adoption of the future state Purchasing & Supply Chain (P&SC) processes implemented in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This includes educating client superusers, end-users, and internal teams on business-oriented financial processes such as procurement, vendor management, inventory, logistics, and production processes within D365. The Coach would act as a bridge between the technical D365 expertise from the Product Team and the functional working needs of client end users. This would involve close work and knowledge transfer with functional and technical consultants on the project to understand the customizations that have been made to the standard D365 platform. The Coach would also need to develop and maintain training materials that would be leveraged for learning (hands-on system demonstration and business process walkthrough) sessions with the business users and often include PowerPoint instructor guides, classroom for hands-on practice, quick reference guides, competency test questions, etc. to be used for training / knowledge sustainment. Key Responsibilities: Support and deliver business-oriented training on D365 Purchasing and Supply Chain workflows to end users primarily related to finance functionality around: o Procurement & Vendor Setup o Purchase Requisitions and Orders o Vendor Collaboration and Evaluation o Warehouse & Transportation Management o Inventory Management o Demand Forecasting & Planning o Trade Agreements and Compliance o Power BI Dashboards for SCM Reporting Occasionally support training development and delivery on other D365 Finance & Operations topics Develop quick reference guides addressed to business users and train client trainers or users with the materials we have created Collaborate closely with functional and technical consultants to understand the configuration of the Purchasing & Supply Chain D365 platform Create and maintain learning plans relevant to the end user personas Coordinate with team members and client counterparts for training set-up and execution activities including scheduling, participation, logistics, and reporting Deliver training sessions both in-person and virtually Open to travel (if needed) to global client locations Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in leading development and delivery of Purchasing & Supply Chain training in MS D365 Purchasing & Supply Chain Process Knowledge: Hands-on experience with supply chain workflow activities or in-depth knowledge of purchasing and logistics processes Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
