Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Product Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for demonstrating products, engaging with customers, and providing exceptional service to drive sales and enhance the overall shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
  • Assist customers with product selection, ensuring their needs are met effectively
  • Perform merchandising duties to maintain attractive and organized product displays
  • Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards
  • Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers and team members
  • Manage time efficiently to meet sales goals and operational deadlines

Skills

  • Multilingual abilities are highly desirable; bilingual proficiency in English and other languages is a plus
  • Experience in technology sales, retail sales, or merchandising is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to perform product demos and technical sales effectively
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a customer-first approach
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of cashiering procedures, including cash handling and POS systems
