Super Save Group is seeking a full-time temporary Administrative and Safety assistant for our Kamloops office. This individual would be responsible for ensuring the flow of information between our head office and operations in Kamloops. The successful candidate will be an outgoing individual, with a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in an office setting.

What you bring:

  • Excellent analytical, strong problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting ability.
  • Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and completing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Solid background in workplace health and safety practices.
  • Prior experience in transportation and vehicle compliance considered an asset.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Support safety training inspections and toolbox talks for employees.
  • Help maintain safety records, incident reports, and inspection logs.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing courier packages.
  • Issue purchase orders in accordance with company procedures and approval processes.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Send and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring and up keeping of drivers and vehicle records.
  • Gathering payroll time sheets and vacation requests.
  • Assisting the Operations manager with administrative tasks.
  • Working closely with Head office on vehicle and driver compliance.
