Job Description

The Junior Designer contributes to all stages of concept, design, and final category development. They are responsible for interpreting and applying current fashion trends to their category in order to meet the expectations of our target clientele and to support the company's strategy and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision and guidance of the manager:

  • Support the manager in defining seasonal trends for the target market;
  • Propose products aligned with the brand identity for the assigned categories;
  • Oversee artistic work and determine seasonal color palettes;
  • Ensure the efficient execution of technical drawings;
  • Participate in all aspects of presentations, from boards to prototypes;
  • Ensure that the fit and style of each garment align with the design intent.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • University degree (or College diploma) in Fashion Design ;
  • 3 years of experience as an Assistant Designer or related experience ;
  • Ability to foster and build relationships ;
  • Excellent fashion sense and knack for originality and creativity ;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
