Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Intern will be responsible for assisting supply chain team in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, analytics, purchase order creation, order creation, sales orders, invoicing and working with 3rd party distributor.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Access and navigate SAP and other data systems.
  • Participate in weekly Demand/Supply planning meetings.
  • Support planning team to prepare for procurement/ SC meeting
  • To identify key issues from QC release to meet production plan
  • Catalog SOPS to meet the new needs of the Supply Chain team.
  • Assist the Supply Chain team with reporting of departmental objectives.
  • Perform data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis.
  • Demand planning team with various forecasting and analysis as needed.
  • All other duties assigned by the Department Head

Qualifications
Additional responsibility (Only applicable to customer facing roles)

  • Undergraduate or graduate business student with/or pursuing major in Supply Chain Management.
  • Solid analytical skills and self-motivated.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • SAP experience a huge plus.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
