Front Desk Agent – The Arts Hotel

Charlottetown, PEI

The Arts Hotel is where modern design meets vibrant energy. Located in the heart of Charlottetown's entertainment district, we're a fresh and minimalistic boutique hotel with a lively, welcoming vibe. More than just a place to stay, we're part of the city's creative spirit — and we're looking for a Front Desk Agent who can bring that same energy to our team.

About the Role

We're searching for an energetic, confident, and service-oriented people person to join our team full-time. You'll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring every stay is welcoming, seamless, and memorable. This role is fast-paced and varied, perfect for someone who thrives on both independence and teamwork.

Responsibilities

· Greet and register guests with warmth and enthusiasm.

· Handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations (phone, online, and walk-in) with accuracy and attention to detail.

· Communicate effectively with all hotel departments to keep operations running smoothly.

· Provide friendly and knowledgeable recommendations about Charlottetown's entertainment, dining, and arts scene.

· Resolve guest questions or concerns proactively and with confidence.

· Process payments and balance transactions with accuracy.

· Maintain a clean, professional, and inviting front desk environment.

· Uphold hotel security and confidentiality standards.

· Contribute to a positive, team-driven atmosphere while working independently when needed.

Qualifications

· Outgoing, energetic, and charismatic personality with great communication skills.

· Service-oriented, confident, and proactive problem solver.

· Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.

· Strong multitasking and organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Hospitality or customer service experience an asset (but a great attitude is what matters most)

· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.

· High school graduate.
