Duties

  • Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in at the front desk
  • Provide expert hair styling services tailored to client preferences and current trends
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the salon or retail space
  • Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
  • Educate clients on hair care routines and recommended products
  • Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Handle retail sales transactions accurately and professionally
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations
  • Assist with maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience in customer service, hair styling, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards within a salon or retail environment is a plus
  • Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client experience
  • Experience working at the front desk or managing appointments is advantageous
  • A professional appearance and friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$37.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
