Pay: $90,000 - $105, % performance bonus

Role overview:

The
General Manager - Business operations
will play a critical role in BoomerangFX's continued growth, overseeing a portfolio of cross-functional projects that drive operational efficiency and scalability. Reporting to the CEO and working alongside senior leaders across the organization, this position will be responsible for leading operational functions, managing a global team, optimizing internal processes, and overseeing key vendor negotiations.

A strategic, results-oriented leader with expertise in ERP implementation, project management, and operational leadership, the General Manager - Business Operations will ensure seamless execution of our ambitious growth objectives and global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-Functional Leadership:
  Lead and collaborate across various departments including technology, marketing, recruitment, and operations to drive BoomerangFX's growth initiatives. Foster alignment and seamless coordination across teams to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
• Project Management:
  Oversee 30-70 concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and KPIs are met. Provide weekly updates to senior leadership on project progress, roadblocks, and key milestones, driving timely and successful execution.
• Data Analytics & ERP Implementation:
  Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems, ensuring integration with other operational tools and processes. Utilize data analytics to enhance decision-making, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement across departments.
• Vendor Negotiation & Management:
  Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met while driving cost efficiencies.
• Budgeting and Cost Management:
  Collaborate with finance and operations teams to define and manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
• HR Policy Implementation & Compliance:
  Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations across Canada, the U.S., and international markets.
• Performance Metrics & Reporting:
  Design, implement, and monitor operational dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide senior leadership with actionable insights to guide decisions and drive accountability.
• Risk Management & Compliance:
  Identify operational and HR risks across global regions, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
• Team Development & IPO Readiness:
  Support leadership in preparing for IPO readiness by building scalable and resilient operational processes. Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What You Offer:

• Bachelor's degree
  in Business, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced certifications
  or an MBA preferred.
• 7-10 years of leadership
  in operations and HR, ideally in high-growth or rapidly scaling organizations.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change, particularly in operational and HR processes.
• 5+ years
  managing large-scale projects with cross-departmental involvement. Experience delivering projects within scope, on budget, and on time.
• Working knowledge of
  ERP systems and experience leading their implementation and optimization to enhance business processes.
• Solid understanding of
  HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
  Experience supporting teams across multiple locations is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the
  ability to influence, motivate, and align teams at all levels.
• Proficient in
  utilizing data analytics to drive operational improvements
  , and able to
  establish and track KPIs to inform decision-making.
• Thrives in a fast-moving environment.
