Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our Grainwell Deco team. In this role, your role is to drive sales by providing exceptional customer support to our valuable customers for the flooring projects, from inception to completion. The Sales associate will provide helpful information, answer questions, and respond to customer complaints/concerns promptly., providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchasing decisions. Your ability to engage with customers, demonstrate product knowledge, and maintain a well-organized store environment will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone, chat, and email inquiries and convert them into sales leads.
  • Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Obtain customers' names, addresses, billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information on order forms
  • Place orders, and prepare invoices, shipping documents, and contracts.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Participate in inside sales initiatives to promote special offers and new products.
  • Stay informed about product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
  • Respond courteously and professionally while taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and building customer relationships.
  • Adjust inventory records to reflect product movement.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Previous experience in retail renovation / floor sales or customer service is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems is advantageous.
  • A passion for renovation or home improvement products is a plus, as it enhances your ability to connect with customers on their projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
