Joshua Perets is expanding, and we're growing our team We're on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer to join us as we continue to develop our latest and exciting collections. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and updating collection boards
  • Develop and refine design sketches and CADs as needed
  • Develop all accessory files for styles (hangtags, zippers, trims, logos)
  • Organize and manage all aspects of sample tracking
  • Help design new wordmark or graphics for application on different styles
  • Support the head designer in day-to-day tasks and organization
  • Assist in the preparation of colors, styles and collections
  • Contribute styling ideas and outfit inspirations for the marketing department
  • Help with photoshoots and styling, ensuring brand consistency

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
  • A great fashion sense and ability to put together stylish, on-brand looks
  • Experience assisting photoshoots and styling is a strong asset
  • Experience in Figma will be considered an asset
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to evolving needs
