We are looking for a salesperson with experience in retail or other sales. Bicycle experience is appreciated, but attitude and passion are everything. We focus on adventure, gravel, urban, and mountain bicycles. With emphasis to create the most positive and enjoyable customer service experience. As such, the most important quality we are looking for is a positive attitude, and efficient work ethic.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Provide a positive and excited one-of-a-kind customer experience.
  • Share product knowledge and enthusiasm for bikes with customers.
  • Familiarity with all brands of parts and accessories we stock.
  • Direct customers through entire new bike sales process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
  • Merchandise product according to sales plan.
  • Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and product care to customers.
  • Complete a multitude of daily housekeeping and office tasks: Opening/closing, cleaning, inventory
  • Possess a team player attitude, assist colleagues on other aspects of Bike and Brew;
  • Enthusiastic for cycling and love coffee;
  • Be Generally Awesome

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a retail sales associate.
  • Previous bike shop sales experience preferred.
  • Proactive knowledge for bicycles, accessories and lifestyle clothing, in all types of cycling;
  • Working in a team environment committed to providing excellent service.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Independent worker with the ability to keep busy and engaged during down times – constantly looking for what else can be done;
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends

A strong candidate will have 1-2 years retail experience in a bike shop with a strong understanding of bicycle categories.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
