Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a clean and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an opportunity to be an essential part of our facilities maintenance team, supporting the overall functionality of our premises.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning of floors, carpets, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Conduct commercial cleaning tasks including dusting, trash removal, window washing, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness of facilities by performing scheduled cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixing minor repairs to ensure the facility remains in good condition
  • Monitor supply levels of cleaning products and request replenishments as needed
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards
  • Report any facility issues or damages to management for prompt resolution

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in commercial or facilities maintenance settings
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and basic repairs when necessary
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods
  • Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability as key qualities
