Job Overview

Previous Barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who possess strong customer service, time management, and food handling skills. The position involves working with POS systems such as Micros POS and maintaining food safety standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency.
  • Operate POS systems efficiently, including Cashiering and Cash handling transactions.
  • Handle food preparation tasks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to Food safety protocols.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
  • Assist in serving food items, restocking supplies, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines related to Food handling and Food safety practices.

Requirements

  • Previous Barista experience or background in the Food industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Strong Customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Good Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of Food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed. This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in serving, food preparation, and customer interaction will be valued. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$19.50 per hour
