JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:
Bilingual
Customer Service Representative

JOB TYPE: Full-time / Salary / Comp $55k minimum (increases based on experience/fit)

REPORTS TO: VP of Sales

START DATE: ASAP

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers;
  • Address all customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Escalate as required;
  • Stay abreast of the industry developments and their impact on the organization's competitiveness and product offerings;
  • Receive customer orders via phone & email
  • Provide timely and efficient service to customers, suppliers and sales team. Responding to inquiries, problems and delivery schedules requests from customers.
  • Interact with delivery drivers, direct drivers to product location for loading/unloading.
  • Maintain customer relationships through handling customer complaints by; Trouble shooting all customer related service issues and providing an optimal resolution to satisfy the customers' needs, documenting all complaints and forwarding them to various departments for further resolutions.
  • Supports other team members to complete daily transactions.
  • Partake in Continuous Improvement projects
  • Generate process and ERP/CRM improvements
  • Actively participate in trade shows, training seminars, and conventions.
  • Support Account Managers with day to day customer related inquiries and documentation request
  • Run reports for Sales / Mgmt team as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent work experience;
  • 1-3 years in customer facing role; food industry related experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel especially) is required; quick learner
  • CRM / ERP system as
    Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • High level of phone etiquette

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Exceptional interpersonal skills; Results-driven; team player

Proficient Computer skills and ability to multi-task

Excellent Customer Service skills

Has the ability to demonstrate leadership, can take ownership of tasks and make decisions, takes initiative and is self-motivated

Must have the ability to work well within a team environment

Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving;

Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and resolve discrepancies in a reasonable amount of time.
