About the Role

As a Counter Sales & Purchasing Coordinator, you'll be the face of our customer service while managing purchasing and inventory processes. This dynamic position ensures smooth operations and delivers outstanding experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by managing calls, inquiries, and quotations.
  • Create, price, and process orders for sales, rentals, and repairs.
  • Track backorders and aged rentals, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate manufacturing in ERP systems, including BOM/job cost verification and shipping.
  • Handle warehouse transfers and job-to-job usage transfers.
  • Procure electrical and instrumentation parts, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare accurate purchase orders and verify acknowledgements.
  • Manage warranties, returns, and third-party repairs.
  • Ship and track calibration equipment repairs.
  • Maintain compliance and accurate records.
  • Keep warehouse and counter areas organized and safe.
  • Participate in on-call and call-in rotations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Adobe.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
