Who We're Seeking to Join Our Team:
The Director of Executive Operations will serve as the operational backbone for the CEO and the executive leadership team, ensuring seamless execution of high-priority global initiatives, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performance leadership environment. This role is critical in supporting Advantage Group's next phase of growth and will act as a key advisor and partner to the CEO.
The role of Director of Executive Operations is designed to enhance the effectiveness of the Board, the CEO and executive team by streamlining operations, leading strategic projects, and improving cross-functional collaboration across regions. With the Advantage Group's global expansion and increasing operational complexity, this position will provide the executive team with the support needed to focus on strategic leadership and high-impact business initiatives.
What Success Looks Like in this Role:
  • Executive Support: Provide high-level support to the CEO and executive leadership team, including managing executive schedules, booking travel, event management, and overseeing key communications. Serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the CEO, ensuring that corporate priorities are executed efficiently and aligned with the company's strategic vision.

  • Leadership & Strategic Planning: Partner with the CEO and other C-suite executives to shape and implement the company's strategic vision. Facilitate the effective execution of corporate goals and objectives at the executive level via the the Advantage Leadership Group (ALG).

  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency across the global executive team by developing and implementing best practices, and standardized processes

  • Global Coordination: Manage cross-functional projects and initiatives that span multiple regions and time zones, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and timely execution.

  • Collaboration: Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Executive teams.

  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.

  • Board Meetings: Collaborate with the Board Secretary and CEO to ensure that Board meetings and outputs are professional, well-organized, and aligned with corporate governance standards

  • Administration: Manage Office administration, wellbeing, and leasing for the Toronto office.

The Capabilities and Skills that Matter:

The successful candidate will have a proven record offering solution-oriented support at a senior level.

  • Experience in an administrative role reporting directly to executive management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects

  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems

  • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of information

Reporting Relationship: This role reports to the CEO.

Location: This role is hybrid, with expectation to attend in person events, meetings, conferences etc. We support a hybrid way of work. Location preferred in Toronto or with easy access to Toronto.
