About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time. This hands-on position is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with experience supporting high-precision production environments. You'll play a key role in keeping equipment and systems running efficiently, with a focus on reliability, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Operational Duties:

  • Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance on production machinery across multiple product lines.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to existing equipment or process designs.
  • Manage basic purchasing functions, including creating and tracking purchase orders and receiving parts or materials.
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and document results accurately.
  • Rebuild or refurbish components such as pumps, bearings, and drives to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate forklifts and assist with light general tasks as required.
  • Support fabrication and assembly work when needed.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work proactively with supervisors and management to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Prioritize daily tasks based on direction from leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management regarding maintenance progress, observations, and improvement ideas.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of a recognized Technician or Technologist program, or equivalent apprenticeship/training.
  • Proven experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving ability.
