We are looking to add an Automotive Parts Counter person to our Brantford location.

The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurately looking up parts with NAPA PARTSPRO SE computer systems as well as paper catalogues and other methods
  • Sells a diverse line of automotive and industrial products to wholesale and retail customers either on the phone or over-the-counter
  • Processes sales and refunds transactions with accuracy using cash, debit and credit cards
  • Effectively communicates product features, benefits and warranty policy to customers
  • Maintains store organization and cleanliness
  • Picks orders accurately
  • Works effectively as parts of a team; demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude

The Skills and Qualifications:

  • Automotive aftermarket experience required
  • Automotive knowledge and paint/autobody knowledge are considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of automotive operating systems and repairs
  • Knowledge of farm supply and industrial supply
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
  • Familiar with use of computers and electronic catalogues
  • Quick learner with good retention
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Professional image and effective customer service skills
  • Must be able to work on your feet up to 8 hours per day
  • Able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
  • Hours: We are open Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You must be available for an 8-hour shift between these times. You will also be required to work alternating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
