Your Mission:

  • Set up and pre-operative checks of machinery before production starts.
  • Operation of machinery, effectively resolve issues as they arise, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Maximize operational uptime on seasoning and packaging equipment on designated line(s).
  • Documentation/record keeping of materials consumed and product produced (up to 6 different records).
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
  • Communicate with maintenance and shipping/receiving departments as necessary.
  • Monitor CCPs.
  • Ensure product changeovers are completed in a timely manner.
  • Replenish seasoning into flavouring machine.
  • Lead team of up to 2 people on the line.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Production Supervisors or Lead Hand.

What You Bring:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machines.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced work environment.
  • 2+ years of production experience.
  • Must be able to comfortably lift up-to 50lbs.
  • Understanding of HACCP principles and practices.
  • Ability to work well with others and foster a positive relationship with peers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are considered an asset.

Good to Know:

  • This position requires successful completion of a clear background check prior to start date.
  • Must be available to work the Monday to Thursday 4AM-2PM
  • Steel Toed Safety Shoes are required, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided onsite.
  • Starting wage is $20.50 per hour.
