Our 40,000 sq. ft. facility supports projects across Canada and the U.S., delivering over 400 shelters annually with precision and reliability.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will take initiative, maintain strong organization skills, and support the efficient flow of materials through the shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Kitting hardware and materials for specific jobs to ensure readiness for production and installation.
- Preparing and staging materials for upcoming fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Maintaining organized storage areas to support smooth workflow and easy access to inventory.
- Performing regular cycle counts and assisting with inventory control.
- Coordinating material movement between departments as required.
- Supporting shop floor organization and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
- Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries and verifying incoming materials against packing slips.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment (an asset but not required).
- Forklift certification is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and handling materials safely.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
