OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join the manufacturing team at Jacobs & Thompson. The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and products within the facility to support production and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesLoad, unload, move, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.Deliver raw materials and components to production lines in a timely manner.Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, inspect for damage, and report discrepancies.Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts and physical inventory.Properly store materials following safety and organizational guidelines.Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.Operate equipment safely and comply with all safety policies and procedures.Assist with packaging, labeling, and documentation of finished products.Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and other departments.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Valid forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales, General Business, and EducationIndustriesWireless Services, Telecommunications, and Communications Equipment Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
