Copywriter Contract Position

Candybox Marketing is seeking an experienced, creative, and results-driven Copywriter with a passion for digital marketing to join our award-winning team for a 6-month contract position from ASAP to December 19, 2025.

As a Copywriter, you'll collaborate with a diverse range of clients across various industries to craft high-quality, compelling content that aligns with strategic marketing objectives. From websites and blog posts to landing pages and email campaigns, your words will help drive results.

This is a full-time contract position from ASAP to December 19, 2025 for candidates located within drive time of our Studio in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Key Actions of the Role

• Collaborate with clients to understand their brand, goals, and voice
• Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for websites, blogs, landing pages, emails, and more
• Conduct thorough industry and keyword research to support content development
• Adapt writing style to fit diverse brand tones and audience segments
• Work closely with internal teams to align content with project goals and timelines
• Manage multiple copywriting projects simultaneously
• Edit and proofread to ensure grammatical accuracy and brand consistency
• Leverage AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, etc.) to enhance content ideation, drafting, and editing efficiency
• Maintain accurate records and status updates using Toggl and Monday boards

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Proven experience as a copywriter in an agency or in-house role
• Familiarity with online content strategy and SEO best practices
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Apple environments
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
• Comfortable using scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Later, Soho) and design software (Canva, Adobe Suite, Sketch)
• Quick to learn new digital tools and tracking/reporting platforms
