Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for following beverage recipes, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal regulations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and maintain compliance with health regulations regarding food handling.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

Skills

  • Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Experience in restaurant or bar settings, demonstrating knowledge of food service operations.
  • Understanding of food safety practices related to food handling and preparation.
  • Previous bartending experience is preferred, showcasing an ability to craft cocktails and mixed drinks.
  • Excellent hospitality skills, with a focus on creating positive customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions effectively.
