Salto Restaurant & Bar, a genuine family-owned Italian gem in the heart of Toronto, is seeking a passionate and experienced Bartender / Server to join our team. **Position Summary**:
As a Bartender / Server at Salto, you will be the face of our values, providing friendly and inviting service that makes each guest feel at home. Your role is crucial in crafting an exceptional customer experience through attentive service, expert knowledge of our menu, and a solutions-oriented approach to any situation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve beverages and made-fresh-to-order meals with a focus on quality.
- Engage with guests to ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a high level of service.
- Process transactions and handle cash accurately.
- Ensure the bar and dining areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of experience as a Bartender / Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a team player mentality.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 4pm.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

**Upcoming Changes**:
Please note that Salto Restaurant & Bar will be extending its hours to include lunch service within the next 3-4 weeks. As a result, some shifts will adjust to start at 11am. Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
