Urgent: Optometric Assistant for Saturday and Sunday

We are looking to hire an optometric assistant for a Part Time position (Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM to 4 PM)

Medical receptionist experience is recommended.

The ideal candidate must:

  • be organized, independent, detail oriented and reliable
  • be enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing and confident
  • be capable and excited to work in a fast paced and team based environment
  • be enthusiastic to learn and have the motivation to continually improve oneself
  • be able to think of your feet and take initiative

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • work directly with patients throughout their visit including greeting them at the door, checking them in, training, submitting to insurance etc.
  • scheduling appointments and follow ups.
  • perform preliminary testing on patients for doctors (training provided)
  • educate customers on product and services
  • answer questions and help other staff around the office where needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
