Position Overview

BioSteel Sports Academy is seeking passionate and committed High School Teachers to join our team. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about working in a high-performance environment with student-athletes and bring strong subject-matter expertise (with a focus on Science, and general ), innovative instructional strategies, and the adaptability to meet the unique demands of a competitive athletic schedule. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching University Level (11U/12U) Science and Math Courses, specifically chemistry, biology, physics, geometry, and calculus. An OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) certificate is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with the Ontario curriculum (or other recognized educational frameworks).
  • Design and implement adaptable lesson plans that account for training and travel commitments
  • Cultivate a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages academic growth and personal development
  • Collaborate closely with coaches, academic advisors, and families to track and support student progress
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to help students meet both academic and athletic objectives
  • Actively contribute to school life by participating in professional development, events, and fostering a collaborative school culture
