Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science and physics teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position involves teaching students in Grade 6 and above, covering a range of mathematical topics from foundational skills to advanced concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive, interactive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and a love for learning.
  • Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and classroom participation, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and staff to support student achievement and well-being.
  • Provide additional academic support through tutoring or mentoring as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior teaching experience in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • Experience in tutoring or academic mentoring is a plus.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and digital teaching tools is advantageous.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
