Application Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 application support for internal and client-facing software systems
- Troubleshoot application issues, system errors, and user access problems
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets using ticketing systems
- Escalate complex issues to development or infrastructure teams when required
- Perform application testing and validation after updates or fixes
- Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles
- Monitor system performance and report recurring issues
- Communicate clearly with users to explain solutions and next steps
- Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and configuration changes
- Follow IT service management best practices and security policies
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in application support, technical support, help desk, or IT support roles
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows, web applications, and basic networking
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes
- Ability to analyze logs, error messages, and system behavior
- Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or scripting is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset and professional communication
- Willingness to learn new systems and technologies
