Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Program Director to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the overall management of our child care program, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Early Childhood Certificate, a strong background in education administration and experience working in child care setting, along with a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

  • Preparing new program for start operating
  • Doing enrolments, tours and plans to set up the classrooms
  • Responsible for the overall operation of the centre including staffing, parents/guardians tours/orientation, communication with all stakeholders and care of all children
  • Manages the enrollments and children portfolios (all records must be collected and kept up to date)
  • Manages hiring process (interviews and screening) and staff records (all must be kept up to date and remain current – the First Aid Certificate, Criminal Record Checks with Vulnerable Sector, Early Childhood Educator Certificates, Food Handling Certificate)
  • Oversees and assists in the programming, staff and children evaluation, as well as the Annual Program Evaluation survey
  • Leads and facilitates staff and parents/guarduans meetings
  • Responsible for the collection of fees, issuing of receipts and invoices
  • Completes reports and inquiries; monitors, tracks and analyzes incident reports and updates daily procedures, safety policies and procedures
  • Organizes and monitors staff professional development and organizes staff training and professional development day
  • Other operational and administrative duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
