Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor who is comfortable guiding classes with humans and animals to join our wellness team The ideal candidate will lead engaging yoga classes, promote a positive environment, and help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and a genuine enthusiasm for promoting physical and mental well-being. The Yoga Instructor will play a vital role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages mindfulness, flexibility, and strength among participants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead group yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring safety and proper technique.
  • Develop and modify class plans to meet the needs of different participants.
  • Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to facilitate effective practice.
  • Foster a supportive and motivating environment for all clients.
  • Communicate effectively with participants to address questions or concerns during classes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of yoga studio equipment and space.
  • Promote upcoming classes, workshops, or wellness events to enhance community engagement.
  • Uphold professional standards of conduct, punctuality, and customer service at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Yoga Instructor with certification from a recognized yoga training program.
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach diverse groups with varying skill levels.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and class flow.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate participants.
