Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Remove and replace tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper tread depth to determine necessary repairs or replacements
  • Perform wheel balancing and alignment services as needed
  • Assist with general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs to support overall vehicle safety
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and repair procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
  • Upsell additional automotive services or products when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales

Requirements

  • Prior dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and tire maintenance
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized tire equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and maintenance practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
