Border Brokers is currently seeking a Customs Release Technician to join our amazing team. We are looking for someone that can provide a strong level of professionalism, excellent customer service, & has a great work ethic.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Contact clients for additional information on import documents & other forms
  • Compile, verify accuracy, sort information, & prepare source data for computer entry for customs clearance documentation
  • Maintain database & establish entry priorities
  • Review data for completeness/correctness
  • Scan/print documents & compile back up documents for file storage
  • Respond to queries for information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications required:

  • CCS designation or customs brokerage experience an asset
  • Ability to prioritize workload & work alone
  • Background in Data Entry
  • Demonstrated ability in Customer Service
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Terrific team player
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Superb computer skills with minimum typing ability of 45 wpm
  • Proficient with MS office
  • Capability to problem solve or escalate tactfully
