Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer (Red Seal) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing Decking and outdoor living structures primarily using TREX, wood, concrete, and other materials. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry, and construction principles, with an emphasis on safety /quality and precision. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects including All types of decking, Rough FIR assemblies, restoration, siding, renovations and concrete , contributing to the successful completion of residential and commercial buildings.

We are a small-medium size business that allows flexibility to our staff and trades

You can also work as a sub trade and invoice per project.

We provide yearly 1st aid training, clothing/ bonuses, $200 boot allowance

We provide gas allowance for job more that 20KM

Duties

  • Interpret plans, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements with the PM.
  • Lots of PT wood framing for decks, composite decking installations, railings, trellis/ gazebos, Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
  • Install siding, perform concrete finishing, and assist with restoration projects as needed.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble wood or metal materials accurately according to specifications.
  • Ensure all framing work aligns with building codes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment; inspect tools and equipment regularly for safety.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or related construction roles.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
  • Knowledge of Deck building, concrete forming, siding installation, and woodworking.
  • Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely.
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform light to heavy lifting.
  • Excellent hand tool skills and familiarity with construction safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid license or relevant certification preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Prior experience in Deck Building projects is a plus. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and carpentry to develop their skills further while contributing to meaningful projects across various sectors within the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$58.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
