Position Summary
The School Support Advisor provides a range of
behavioural
strategies, including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and delivers direct support to students with complex needs in elementary and secondary schools. The School Support Advisor is an active and collaborative member of the Student Services Team and liaises with community agencies, on behalf of the
student
, school, and their
family
.
What You Bring To The Team

• Completion of post-secondary education in applied behaviour analysis (ABA), psychology, or social science discipline or completion of autism and behavioural science graduate certificate program
• Minimum of three years of experience working with children and youth with complex needs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience working within a school board or school setting
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle in order to travel and provide service throughout the district;
