We are seeking a Laboratory Technician on 8-months contract for our Garson location. In a supervised lab setting, you will:

  • Receive, log and sort environmental samples
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative laboratory analyses
  • Maintain accurate records (logbooks) and report/enter data
  • Understand and comply with Testmark's Quality Management System
  • Maintain work area and equipment in proper condition

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Proven relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • must be competent, dependable and able to absorb and apply training.
  • basic computer literacy
  • the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • good record keeping skills and attention to detail.
  • good troubleshooting skills required for instruments and methods.
  • Experience working in an ISO laboratory considered an asset.

Pay: $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
