Our member is looking to hire
2nd - 4th Year Electrical Apprentices
. They are seeking candidates,
currently based in Ontario
, who are interested in working in
Northern Alberta, Northern BC, and/or Saskatchewan.
Position Summary
Apprentice Electricians needed ASAP. If you possess the full range of knowledge required to install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including climate control, security, lighting, power sources and communications, please apply.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Pay rate: $24-40 /hr depending on experience
  • Positions available on multiple projects

  • Location(s):

  • Cenovus Foster Creek - Camp Accommodations - 8/6 rotation hour days

  • Northern BC - 14/7 rotation hour days
  • Saskatchewan - 9/5 rotation hour days

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a registered 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Install, alter, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications
  • Plan layouts and illustrations of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes
  • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with codes
