Functional Rehabilitation Inc. is an independent rehabilitation firm providing services to the auto industry since 1993. We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic, Occupational Therapists to join our multidisciplinary team and provide independent assessments, treatment and rehabilitation services including:

  • In-Home Assessment/In-Clinic Assessment
  • Rehabilitation/Disability Assessment
  • Insurer Assessment
  • Cognitive assessment
  • Assessment of attendant care needs.
  • Ergonomic assessments, and return-to-work programs.
  • Hospital Assessments & Discharge Planning
  • Functional Abilities Evaluation
  • Job Site Analysis (Physical and Cognitive) / Physical Demands Analysis
  • Ergonomic Assessment/Return to Work Assessment Planning
  • Assessment for Mobility Devices
  • Paper and File Reviews

Qualifications:

Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy and are a registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Possible experience in the auto insurance industry. Able to gather/evaluate data and articulate well-written reports. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with a commitment to outstanding client care, is supported by the ability to establish supportive trusting relationships with all team members involved in the rehabilitation process.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word and Outlook
  • Analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Any experience in the auto industry would be helpful but not necessary.
  • Any experience working with people that have had acquired brain injuries; spinal cord injuries; orthopaedic injuries; or chronic pain would be helpful but not necessary
