Litigation Associate Lawyer

Location: Kitchener, ON (Waterloo Region) | Type: Full-time, Permanent | In-Person with hybrid option

You will play a key role in all stages of litigation, including:

  • Representing clients before courts and tribunals;
  • Managing a varied caseload across commercial, property, employment, and estate matters;
  • Drafting pleadings, affidavits, facta, and other court documents;
  • Conducting examinations for discovery, cross-examinations, and hearings;
  • Collaborating closely with partners and other associates;
  • Mentoring summer and articling students; and
  • Advising clients and developing practical, results-oriented legal strategies.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • 1–10 years of post-call litigation experience;
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills;
  • Ability to independently manage multiple files and deadlines;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for problem-solving; and
  • Sound business judgment; and
  • Motivation to excel in the practice of law.
