Customer Service/Salon Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized and proactive team member who enjoys creating experiences for both clients and stylists. In this role, you will help ensure every visit to the salon runs smoothly through great customer service and support to the team.

Your day may include managing appointments and tickets, assisting with retails sales and inventory, keeping the salon clean and welcoming, supporting stylists with basic salon tasks (sweeping, rinsing, washing - training provided)

The ideal candidate is kind, detail-orientated, helpful, and enjoys solving problems - someone who takes pride in creating a calm, professional environment where clients and stylists are supported.

Hours (varied locations - Vedder, Abbotsford, District)

  • Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Start Date: flexible

Training to commence prior to start

General Duties:

  • Manage client bookings and provide friendly, professional customer service
  • Run tickets and handle ticket sales
  • Staying on top of the daily schedule and assist stylists with coordinating and adjusting the schedule throughout the day
  • Greet clients warmly and ensuring the salon is organized, stocked and ready

Salon Coordination & Communication

  • Prepare the salon for opening & closing. Tidy areas, stocking etc
  • Communicate clearly with the team via Basecamp and other channels as issues and updates arise
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative team culture

Salon Support & Maintenance

  • Cleaning, laundry and general upkeep to maintain a professional space
  • All rooms and workstations are clean, organized and ready for use
  • Provide sink services, brow services and blowouts (training provided)
  • Support service providers in the space (sweep, wash, ticket checkout and re-bookings)

Administrative & Technical Support

  • Manage phone, email, direct messaging and assigned tasks
  • Support retail sales and inventory management

Qualifications

Warm and friendly. Able to effectively follow set procedures and systems and multitask . Comfortable learning software. Reliably available for shifts. Administrative and/or customer service experience required. A warm, personably, unflappable presence able to provide consistent and confidant customer service .

This is not a remote position.
