Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Your responsibilities will include planning engaging activities, ensuring the safety of all children, and collaborating with parents to support their child's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social interactions and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
  • Organize activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom.
  • Address any behavioral issues promptly and effectively while promoting positive behavior management techniques.

Skills

  • Proven classroom experience in an educational setting is essential.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
  • Background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience working with children in various capacities such as caregiving or tutoring is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
