Medical Receptionist

We are a busy family medicine clinic located at the corner of St.Laurent and Montreal Road (535 Montreal Road in Ottawa).

We are a total of 8 doctors looking for a full time Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist.

We are fully computerized and use the Telus PS Suite EMR. The candidate must be proficient with using computers.

It is an asset for the candidate to be BILINGUAL.

We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant that is efficient and thorough, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to function in stressful situations. You must be able to multi-task. Must be able to work both independently and with other staff members. You must be courteous and professional with patients and staff.

Duties include but are not limited to :

  • triaging patient calls and history taking, must be able to document properly
  • the candidate would be taught how to take vitals
  • being able to maintain the flow of patients through the clinic (ien answering phones, doing vitals

    and putting patients in the room)
  • being able to schedule patients appropriately

Réceptionniste médicale

Nous sommes une clinique de médecine familiale très occupée située au coin du boulevard St-Laurent et du chemin Montréal (535 chemin Montréal à Ottawa).

Notre clinique est composée de 7 médecins et nous sommes à la recherche d'une réceptionniste médicale à temps plein.

Nos dossiers médicaux sont informatisés avec le programme Telus PS Suite. Il est donc essentiel que le candidat soit à l'aise avec les ordinateurs.

Nous recherchons un employé dynamique capable de travailler efficacement sous pression. Le poste requiert une aisance à effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément. Le candidat doit être capable de bien travailler en équipe. Nous recherchons un employé capable d'être courtois et professionnel envers les patients et autres membres de l'équipe.

Il est un atout d'être BILINGUE pour le poste.

Voici une description de certaines tâches du poste :

  • répondre aux appels téléphoniques des patients pour céduler les rendez-vous
  • faire un triage des appels téléphoniques en sachant bien prendre l'histoire et en documentant de

    façon appropriée l'information au dossier
  • le candidat serait enseigner à prendre les signes vitaux
  • assurer le flot des patients lors de leur visite à la clinique

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.60 per hour
