Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Duties

  • Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction and renovation of buildings and structures.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning job sites.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles.
  • Help set up scaffolding, ladders, or other temporary structures as needed.
  • Participate in site clean-up and organization to ensure a tidy workspace.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
