Daikin Comfort Technologies Mfg LP. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our E-Premium Product Specialist position for our Canada Division Branch Operations group located remotely, but local to Canada. The E-Premium Specialist will lead the sales initiative of Residential Unitary Inverter Products and serve as the individual to manage and coordinate engagement and accomplishment of the division sales objectives with Company Owned Distribution (COD) & Distributor Channel Partners. Position Responsibilities May include:Responsible for coordinating engagement and accomplishment of division sales objectives with COD & Distributor Channel Partners which includes all residential brands utilizing inverter technology.Provide resources and promotional support to fully engage TSMs to sell the focused product (both COD & IND)Make joint sales calls with TSMs to help win & onboard dealer targets.Teaches TSMs during these joint calls to activate them as proactive contributors to FIT/SD sales volume.Achieve Division Sales Targets for Side-Discharge Products of all residential brandsAct as Division Product Champion to assist in developing COD & IND product sales opportunities of his/her focus area as assigned. Help to support product teams as they develop and work closely with the product applications resource.Oversee and be responsible for meeting division objectives for the specific programs that are part of the specialist's focus area.Serve as additional sales & training resource to COD, IND channels as directed by their DSI. No support of REP channel for this role.Responsible for driving key organization objectives across all brand strategies such as but not limited to Side-Discharge (FIT, Amana-S, Goodman SD) sales, SkyPort Care, R32 product launch, and Cold Climate Heat Pump initiatives.Act as Daikin Comfort Pro Loyalty Champion and subject matter expert to cast the Daikin Vision, ensuring our distribution channels are partnering and recruitment of premium contractors that embody Daikin philosophies.Manage reporting and dissemination of core data pertaining to the e-Premium objectives from Executive LeadershipNature & Scope:Has a complete understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs/challenges of assigned accounts; develops colleagues' and customers' understanding; is recognized as an expert in many areasWorks with large, important or global accountsHas full authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service termsPlans own account management approach and has input into colleagues' approaches; manages own and often others' resourcesProgression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirementsKnowledge & Skills:Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and communication skills including public speaking, presentations, and negotiation skillsAbility to develop effective communication pieces (price pages, sales support documentation, submittals, written memos etc.)High level proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 programs, Excel, Word, Power Point and SalesforceAble to generate and read reports as requiredExcellent organizational and time management skillsCompetitive industry knowledgeAbility to apply good judgment, strong work ethic and integrity on the job.Experience:A minimum of 10 years related experiencePrior HVAC industry experienceEducation:Bachelor's degree preferred, will accept industry experience in lieu of degreePeople Management (Y/N): NPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations Overnight travel, approximately 25-30% per month possibly more as requiredReports To: Director, Business DevelopmentQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Canada.
