Job Description: CNC Programmer/ Operator for Graphite Cutting (min 2Years experience)

Reports To: Machining Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily, import, manipulate, and process 3D models.
  • Daily, mount, program and machine carbon for EDM machines. (5 axis experience and asset)
  • Using provided tools and machinery, program, setup and operate 5 axis Roeders using Cimatron software.
  • Complete checklists and report deviations from specified tolerances.
  • Responsible for maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Responsible for maintaining the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions, initiating repair work orders, ect;
  • Daily, maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic logs;
  • Participate in required meetings and training, as requested.

Job Specifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two (2) years' experience programming and cutting carbon (Cimatron software is preferred but not required)
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
  • Ability to ensure quality standards are met
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Proficient in time management and communication skills
