Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring that our culinary team delivers high-quality dishes while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, managing food handling procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

  • Supervise and lead kitchen staff, including cooks and other team members, to ensure efficient operation.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and taste.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring food costs.
  • Implement and enforce food handling practices to comply with health regulations.
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Proficient in customer service principles to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
