Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles, enabling them to provide insightful analysis and support for financial decision-making. This role requires proficiency in various financial software and tools, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Duties
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau for data visualization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data from ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Utilize SQL and databases for data management and analysis.
- Assist in budgeting processes and forecasting financial performance.
- Perform auditing tasks to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes.
- Conduct research on market trends, investment opportunities, and financial services.
- Communicate findings effectively through reports and presentations using Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Knowledge of budgeting, investment banking, and financial services.
- Effective communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Bilingual abilities (especially in French) are a plus.
- Familiarity with VBA for process automation is advantageous.
- Understanding of auditing principles and practices.
- Strong math skills for accurate financial calculations. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about finance and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment while developing their professional skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.54-$52.76 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
